"It May not Feel Good, but It's Working"
One of the hard truths in life is that many of the things that are good for us, often don't feel or taste good to us. When we were young, we were told to eat our vegetables so we could grow up big and strong. What tasted better and what I would have rather eaten was grandmother's caramel cakes, cookies and ice cream. Those days in the gym leave you tired and sore at first, but when you see the results and weight loss or muscle gain it produced, it makes it all worth it.
Right now God's plan for our life is requiring us to go through growing pains that do not feel good to our flesh or to our ego. I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to not quit or give up. It may not feel good right now, but what God has you going through is working for your good. Romans 8:28 tells us, "All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Know that your struggles and challenges have been designed by God for his purpose and it's going to work out in your favor.
