Bishop Connally Hill and Mother Veronica Hill. His parents reared him in the way of the Lord and as a result he was saved in 1987 and is now a 3rd generation member of The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) of the Apostolic faith. Bishop Hill accepted his call into the ministry and preached his first sermon in October 1992. While serving faithfully under Bishop Milton H. Hill, he was ordained an Elder during the 1995 Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ convention in Philadelphia, PA and a District Elder in 2012 at the Greensboro NC convention.
Bishop Hill was taught that an education was a vital tool for one to thrive in this generation. In May 1995, he received a his bachelors degree in Business Administration from Talladega College. He is currently employed as an Employment Service Representative for the State of Alabama. The scripture says that a man that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. In September 2007, he married Sister Brenda (Withers) Hill and they currently reside in Oxford, Alabama. |
Because of Bishop Hill’s Apostolic rearing, he has acquired a passion for developing and disciplining young saints in the ways of apostolic living and kingdom building. In an effort to do this, Bishop Hill has served in numerous capacities and on committees on the local, diocese and national levels:
> Local and Diocese Armor Bearer’s Young People Union (ABYPU) President > National ABYPU Jurisdiction Coordinator > Young People Sunday School Teacher > Former Associate Pastor of Refuge II Church > Previous Assistant Pastor of Refuge II Church In 2009, Elder Hill was promoted to Pastor of Refuge II COOLJC.
